Complete the New Materials - Equipment form after searching the catalog to see if the equipment is already in the catalog. Fill in the form with the needed information.

NEVER send in the equipment. Only send in the completed New Materials - Equipment form to Cataloging. If available, please send in any brochures, pamphlets, or user guides that come with the equipment. These materials will be used to create/update the catalog records. All these booklets will be returned to the sending library. 

Cataloging can also add serial numbers, asset tags or other requested data to the Notes filed on the Copies record.
